I have been neglecting you, my Livejournal, but that will end soon...come Dec. 13 I will be done with my college semester and then catch up on Heroes/Comics/Fanfics/Etc.

I can't WAIT! ^_^

Fall Break means getting to schoolwork done. Yet, I still haven't seen the new episode of Heroes yet. *sighs*

Writing this fic was a very painful process. I don't know why, but it gave me all kinds of trouble - I'm glad to finally be free of it. Hope you enjoy. :)

Hi Again! I recently got my sister addicted to The Flash comics, and she fell in love with Bart (who wouldn't). Anyway, she wanted to read more comics with Bart in them, so I scoured my comic collection to find some of his out-of-the-norm appearances.

You know, smut is the hardest thing for me to write (mainly because I don't think I do it very well). Yet, when I finally got around to breaking my writer's block, the fic that emerges is for the DC Kink Meme.

Final Crisis: Legion of 3 Worlds No. 5 = FANTASTIC

Sure, I had many problems with it, but that didn't stop the series from being a thoroughly enjoyable read. (Mostly because I'm a HUGE Legion fangirl, and Bart/Kon are two of my favorite DC characters.) This issue was worth the wait! ^_^

I'm not going to spoil anything, but I LOVE what happened to Superboy-Prime. He's become one of my top favorite DC villains because of this series.

Evil Writer's Block Continues to Be EVIL.

I've tried to write something for the past few days, and all I come up with is crappy drabbles I'll end up rewriting the second this block is broken. It's so frustrating!! >_<

Of course, it doesn't help that I've become addicted to FF: Tactics and have suddenly experienced a drawing craze (if you couldn't tell by all the art I've been posting). It's kind of nice, since I haven't had a chance to really spend some time doodling for a long while.

It's nice to be back home too. I just discovered a comic book store 20 min. away that sells 8 comics for a dollar. That was the easiest 20 bucks I've ever spent, and I get to go back tomorrow. ^_^

Oh, and I got a dreamwidth account (thank you kensieg). It's just in case something ever goes wrong with LJ (I hope not), so I won't post anything there that won't show up here. My username there is yo_mawari, and I even have the same default icon (yes, I am incredibly inventive, lol), if you want to find me there.

Evil Writer's Block is Evil.

I know what I want to write, the problem is getting the words on paper. They're just not coming. *sighs* I need something big to inspire me. Maybe I'll finally get around to watching the end of Heroes Vol. 4...

Anyway, I took a small art seminar and our task was to draw a short comic by redrawing (and changing) preexisting pieces of art. So, I chose the Teen Titans comic (and Batman 652) for my bases. It took forever, but I finall finished, and I thought I'd share. Hope you like it.

Finals are evil, and have kept me from my precious internet for way too long. I really can't wait for summer vacation - one more week left to go!!

Writer's Block has hit me pretty hard, and I have no idea how to break it. I've been doodling a little bit lately though, just to keep some of my fandoms alive. Hopefully, I'll manage to get the 4-page comic I've been working on finished soon.

Allergies are EVIL. It's wonderful outside, but my body decides to make me miserable. *sighs*

All my papers are almost done, thank GOD! I only have one more 10-page paper to write, on Lawrence of Arabia's Capture of Damascus, and then I'm finished for the year! Well, I'll still have to study for finals, but that's not for another two weeks.

I can't wait for summer.

Anyway, I wrote some in-class drabbles. I've typed most of them already, but I've only cleaned up one set so far 'cause it'll have to be posted tonight or the whole thing'll go into AU territory. The Heroes drabbles will be posted later, along with some ones from other fandoms, when I get the time.

And, drat, I still have a few full fics to write for people. I need more hours in the day....

Actually, I've been back for a few days, but I've barely found the time to go one except for a few minutes here and there. I'm trying to catch up on all the ficcage that I've missed, and it looks like it's going to take awhile. ^_^


On the fic side of things, I don't think I've managed to get anything done past a few written drabbles I still have to type up.. I've barely even found the time to write my papers for school! I want summer vacation to come, so I can get some free time to myself. *sighs*


On the fandom note, I have dicovered a new love for DC Comics. My friend got me the complete Impulse, Flash: Fastest Man Alive, Robin, The Outsiders (v3), Infinite Crisis, Young Justice, Teen Titans (1996, 1999, 2000, 2003, Year One, Tiny Titans), The Titans, and some random Batman Comics (Underground, the newest detective comic arc, etc).

I've been reading them in the five minutes between classes and got addicted (I've fallen in love with Bart Allen and Tim Drake).

Save me.

I may disappear for awhile.

My school's internet is being re-vamped, so the entire campus will be internet-less for awhile (they don't know how long it will take).

Also, I have four term papers to write. They're all due at the end of April and my professors aren't extending the deadline 'cause of the upcoming off-line internet.

So I won't be able to write much ficcage, for awhile.

I might clean up some of the old stuff if I have the time. If not, I'll work on kenseig's fic or the S.P.Y. Series (I am currently blocked on dmlpacker's fic, which sucks 'cause I've been meaning to write that for awhile) in my notebooks when I can't access my computer (which is a lot).

Anyway, this is just a heads-up 'cause I'd feel bad if I didn't post for a few weeks without telling anyone.

My birthday's Sunday, so my Mom took me shopping today for my presents.

It was fun; I ended up with a PSP and some games for my parents/grandaparents to give me. My uncle's paying for some awesome Watchmen stuff. The only problem is that now I have to wait 6 days to play with all of it.

Anyway, I just got back and now have some homework to do (mr professors loaded me up with reading assignments and essays for the break. At this rate, I'll never get to the fic writing. *sighs*
